For those of you who experienced the beginning of the Web 2.0 era in the early 2000s, it seems like you will be carried away by nostalgia when reading this one strip. Yep, at that time the website evolved from static content to dynamic user-based content with various interactions. At that time, the web design genre had been determined, starting from the choice of colors and font types, navigation, to coding on a website. Gradient colors with glossy combinations became commonplace accompanied by text running from left to right using Microsoft's Comic Sans font with the "marquee" tag.

Talking about technology, at that time there was no website/page builder or CSS framework. Website appearance management was done through HTML and CSS coding through templates. Now, customization features can be done through plugins, one of which is quite popular is the Elementor page builder on the WordPress CMS.

This development shows how rapid web technology has been in the last two decades. In the past, a web developer had to master various technical skills to create a site from scratch, while now many of these jobs can be completed with just a few clicks.

Modern tools such as Elementor, Webflow, or Framer not only speed up the process of building a site, but also open up opportunities for non-programmers to get involved in the world of web development. Not to mention the combination with AI technology which is currently increasingly trendy and clearly makes it easier for users.
