Hackintosh is used as a term for people who are crazy about wanting to have a Mac, but don't have the money to buy one (okay, this is a term that is a personal preference). As a result, their ordinary desktop PCs are raped modified and tweaked to the fullest so that they can run the operating system from Apple.
